Tired of feeling tired?
Sleep impacts our mood, ability to focus, emotional regulation, coping skills, and relationships. When experiencing sleep challenges, mental health and physical health are compromised, which results in poorer sleep outcomes. Interrupting this vicious cycle requires addressing sleep challenges in the context of mental health treatment. When working with clients I use a collaborative and strengths-based lens, incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Solutions Focused Therapy and Mindfulness to help adults and their children get better sleep.
